Almost everyone has a Veteran in their life. These are people who took a risk and answered the call to serve. Happy Veterans Day to all those who have served and are currently serving. We want to take a moment to embrace and appreciate all of the Veterans who have worked with us, shopped with us, and are still with us today.

This image shows Bob LaBonne Sr giving his son Bobby a goodbye kiss before heading off to Army Reserve training. Luckily, he never saw combat but always stood ready.

After a long career with our company we're wishing Walter W. a Happy Retirement!! 🎉

Walt has worked with us since 2012 when we acquired our Southbury location. In 2015 his tremendous skills were needed in our Watertown store, where he continued to excel in several management roles, including Assistant Store Director. Walter had a passion for the business and he loved interacting with his colleagues and customers every day.

Cool history fact, he actually ran his own store back in the day! Walter is a jack of all trades and has skills in every department, that could only be built through decades of hard work and dedication to the food industry. We've all had wonderful experiences with Walter at one point or another over the years, feel free to share yours below! 😊

We hope you enjoy your retirement Walter and now enjoy your free time out on the water fishing!
