The Quincy Garden Center is thrilled to host a venue for Quincy Porchfest on March 12, 2022…………

The 2022 Quincy Porchfest is right around the corner (March 12). Founded in 2012 by Walter Kelleher, local resident and area drummer, Quincy Porchfest was the first of its kind in the state of Florida. “I read in a Canadian music magazine about such events taking place up north, the first being in Ithaca, New York in 2007, and I thought it was a perfect fit for downtown Quincy,” says Kelleher, “So, the first year, I called up all the bands I knew. We all love to perform.”
Since then the Porchfest concept of bringing area musicians and communities together in a celebration of fellowship has spread in popularity around the State.
This year we are welcoming several new groups to Quincy Porchfest. One of those is THE HEEBIE-JEEBIES, a phunky, soulful, horn-driven jam band fusing vibes from the '60s to today. Band members include: Colby Scheib, John Moore , Neal Goree , Matthew Justin Matillo , and Rhys Bennett.
The Hebbie-Jeebies will be playing at the QUINCY GARDEN CENTER back courtyard 204 E JEFFERSON STREET from 12-1:45PM. Hope to see you there!
