#1: As you may already know, you can use a floating candle in basically any container. The thing you need to be mindful of is making sure the candle will fit in it, while also leaving enough room for water to surround it. #2: Adding things like glass pebbles, beads, or even flower petals and such is a creative way to create more visual interest when using floating candles. The possibilities are vast and it’s really hard to mess up the look when doing so. One thing to stay mindful of, is to not overload your container with items to the point where it looks too crowded and/or the water is beginning to rise and spill out. #3: Never ever leave floating, or any candle for that matter, unattended! Things can happen very quickly that we weren’t expecting! In that case, you want to make sure that you’re being cautious and are prepared for the unexpected! Have fun designing with floating candles! And most importantly, be safe with them! It only takes a second to change a beautiful moment into an ugly tragedy.
