Sadly, this view of the farm has changed a lot. On the bright side, everyone’s tootsies will stay clean and dry! The lights are up and paving is to be completed within a month.

Welcome to Well Wishes Farm. The farm was purchased in 2018 by Scott & Jolene Brady. Since then, it has been a labor of love, blood, sweat, and tears to get the property to the place it is today.

The farm was built in 1855 and prior to us was owned by the Smith family since the 1950's. They had much love for the family home and we strive to care for it and promote the making of happy memories there as they did.

The Smith children remember when the hand dug well for which the venue is named after was the water source for the farm. During the droughts of the 1960's, the supply proved inadequate and a conventional deep well was drilled. No longer the water source, the well remained capped by concrete. Scott knew from the moment he looked down the 18" access hole that someday he would unearth it. So... in 2021 he began jackhammering concrete away. Stones were pulled from the property as well as from our home which is nearby. Bricks were removed from the barn front to accommodate enlargement of the windows. These stones and bricks were then used to construct the wishing well.

The venue remains a work in progress. During this year, a paved and lit parking lot and landscaping are to be completed. We have had several family/friend weddings there so far and look forward to 4 more this year (that is the limit allowed until the parking lot complete). We are beginning to book for the 2023 season and look forward to sharing this peaceful place with couples at their beginnings of lifetimes of well wishes.
