We are at the Kool April Nites Big Show today at Redding Civic Auditorium. We'll be serving pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches with coleslaw and a side of macaroni salad and BBQ buddha bowls. Come on out and enjoy the beautiful cars and great atmosphere!

Made the lonp trip to Dupont, WA this weekend to compete at Hudson Bay Heritage Days BBQ. Was fortunate enough to get 4 calls (1/ckn, 3/ribs, 5/pork, 5/brisket) which was good enough for Reserve Grand Champion! Congrats to Smoke324 BBQ for winning and Smokin' Timbers BBQ in 3rd overall outta 27 teams. Thanks to Tom Riggs and all the volunteers who made it a great event!!

Grill Billies just got notified that we are moving on to the Sams Club Regionals in Last Vegas! We know a few teams who beat us in Renton and are not able to make the trip, so we definitely got lucky to advance. Time to practice that Pork!

Had a fun day today at the Grillers Cup at the Spring Home & Garden Show....ended up 3rd in chicken, 2nd in ribs and 1st in Tritip....overall GC!

What a wonderful event (Ribs and Rods) put on by Rolling Hills Casino, some great teams showed up and despite the wind, we took home 1st place. Congratulations to BC Stoneage and Daniel Byrd for a 2, 3 finish!

We are loading the smokers into the trailer....packing up the ice chests....we are headed to Coos Bay, OR this weekend! Best of luck to our many friends who will be at Pros and Joes this weekend and to all of you this awesome Memorial Day weekend! Remember to be thankful for the brave men and women who gave of themselves so we could enjoy our freedom!

We placed 2nd in chicken, 5th in ribs, 4th in pork, 4th in brisket and Reserve Grand Champions at the KCBS competition in Montague! Congratulations to all the other great teams that showed up and made this a great and fun event!

Grill Billies picked up a Reserve Grand Champion in round 2 of the North State Barbecue Championships last weekend in Boomtown. Next up is Montague and the KCBS comp this weekend. Don't miss Aug 16th at Shasta County Fairgrounds, with round 3 of NSBC.

Thanks Drew! We took home a 1st in TriTip, 2nd in Ribs and 2nd overall in the Grillers Cup. Not a bad start to the 2014 season!! Next up for the Grill Billies is the KCBS Sams Club National BBQ Tour in Sacramento March 29th.

By popular demand, we will be at the Novembeer Festival doing the BBQ competition at the Anderson River Park on Saturday. Even though we had not planned to cook at it, I don't thing we can go wrong doing a little bbq'ing....I mean, it's a beer festival!!!
