Guiding Footsteps
I bought these shoes in 2011 at the Greenwich sidewalk sales. They were $75 and a major financial investment for 16 year old me. I knew, when I saw them they would be an important piece to me for years to come.
These shoes have seen me through many seasons. Sorority recruitment, conference presentations, first days of school, I reserve them for when I need a bit of good luck.
Four years ago when I first opened Three Roots I took a chance on some branding photos and these shoes were the only choice for that day. I needed their constant reassurance that this major investment was going to work out.
4 years and 50+ weddings I needed these shoes once again.
Choosing to open Three Roots at the Ice House was both lightning fast, and slow to develop. My team and I knew we were working towards something greater than what we had; but, we couldn’t pinpoint what.
As my same photo friend from four years ago came to take these updated branding images I knew wearing these shoes, and harnessing their good luck was a non-negotiable. They have seen me through many seasons and adventures, and this new one needed their personal historic guidance.
As I welcome you all into this next chapter for Three Roots I want to also remember where we started. Creating intimate micro-wedding florals out of bud vases. We have slowly, intentionally, and methodically built our offerings and the wedding florals we design are a testament to our learnings and growing as a studio.
I know this new studio will be the next step on that journey of evolution and expansion, and I cannot wait to continue partnering with you and yours to compose intentional moments of floral joy.
