To our community, the funds we proudly raised together has been passed along to the Dillard family. Over the past month or so we have seen support from men, women, and children of all ages from our incredible village. Over 1500 bows are proudly displayed not only in Rockville Centre, but also across Long Island from this incredible fundraiser. The materials and labor of love was donated by us, and 100% of every bow sold was given directly to the Dillard family. On April 4th, at 3:45 p.m., Art Flower and Gift Shoppe hosted Girl Scout Troop 843 from Wilson School in Rockville Centre. The young girls were allowed to design fresh floral arrangements, which they then took to the senior center, the Atria in Lynbrook, to brighten some seniors' days. What a wonderful lesson to teach these young ladies about community, compassion, and kindness.
