Special event this evening! Our Headliner has worked with some of the biggest names in Comedy. The Sklar Brothers, Mark Normand, and Chad Daniels(to name a few).

Our Headliner ,Nate Abshire ,started performing comedy in 2009 - what will be called 'the before time,' after the global economic collapse. The following year, he finished runner-up in the “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest.

In 2012 he ventured west and was a semifinalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.

In 2013 Nate performed at Laughfest in their “Best of the Midwest” contest finishing runner-up, and by this point, became very tired of losing comedy contests. He gave it another try in 2014 on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," but again did not win.

Since then he has opened for some of the best comics working today, who's names you would know and recognize AND finally won a comedy contest in 2020 - The Coast to Coast Roast.

Nate released his debut, award-winning album on 800lb Gorilla Records in 2021. Audiences love his sardonic wit, keen writing, and playful stage presence.

Nate currently lives in Minneapolis with his cat.

Our Feature, Ali Hormann, is a regular at Acme Comedy Company, The Comedy Room at Sisyphus, and Camp Bar in the Twin Cities. She is the co-producer for Don't Tell Comedy in Minneapolis and St. Paul. She was was first runner up at the House of Comedy funniest person contest on 2021 and a finalist for Acme’s funniest person in 2021. She gets most of her jokes from her three kids.

Matt Dooyema is a proud pet father of 4 from St Cloud. A bartender by trade, Matt's humor has been influenced by the stories from behind the bartop and the soul crushing realization that his mother was most likely right about not finishing college. Irreverent by nature, Silly by design, Bitter by circumstance, Matt is a high energy performer willing to please.

Zach Ashton is a comic who cut his teeth at his home club Goonies in Rochester Minnesota, before moving to Minneapolis. Since then he has taken his jokes and high energy style all the way to the finals of several comedy contests including the Funniest Person in the Twin Cities. We don’t know if he IS the messiah or not, but we do know he’s hilarious.

Last week the sugar plums were definitely dancing through our heads. We(mostly) had a blast last week. Aside from some unpleasantness, we got to bid farewell to our dear friend Sydni Stephens, Angel came back to bartender for a night, and we had 2 first timers! I cannot emphasize how much fun was had on Friday evening. The Keller Comedy Showcase! Holiday edition! was a rousing success! Big shout out to the Red Carpet Nightclub for having faith in our little show, and our weekly Open Mic in the Keller Bar
Thanks to the record crowd that came out to support us and to Val the Bartender for keeping up with a very thirsty audience!
