We're culinary nomads, roaming MN & WI, pulling our trusty wood-fired oven to your event, crafting epic, original, & tasty feasts. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, we will travel to your celebration, party, or open house, bring our mobile wood-fired oven and fresh ingredients to you and prepare meals onsite. You can periodically find us serving our fresh made from scratch pizzas right from the oven at fest

ivals, wineries, breweries, and other outdoor venues during the summer. We will have no public events until April of 2021.

We're looking forward to next year.

Reflecting on our 3rd Annual Summer Soiree this past Sunday fills my heart with immense gratitude and joy.

Seeing so many people enjoying the warm summer evening was truly magical.

From picking flowers and eating delicious woodfired pizza to listening to the band and gathering with friends and family, every moment was a dream come true.

I'm grateful to my husband, Kevin and entire family for all of their help and support of my dream.

For Dylan Cooper for his help prepping the farm and greeting everyone with a smile.

And I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who came and shared this special evening with us including Phil and the Blanks, A Wandering Fire: Artisan Pizza and Catering, and photography for capturing the essence so perfectly!

Unfortunately, we have to cancel tonight's event.

Long story short, the commercial refrigerator went down in the middle of the night and we're in the process of throwing away $1000s of food and finding a new refrigerator.

Maaren Spears talks a bit more about A Wandering Fire: Artisan Pizza and Catering 's AWF's 10th Anniversary Party at the Chateau to be held Friday July 30th from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Chateau St. Croix Winery , St Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Tickets are $35 and includes a wine tasting, pizza buffet with some surprise treats. There will be a great DJ from Spicy-Meatball Photography and DJ service. Will you join us and celebrate with us? Our Story

Since April 7, 2012 we’ve been putting fresh ingredients on our artisan house-made dough and baking it at your event in our mobile hardwood-fired oven. The result is a unique and truly craft pizza baked to perfection in 90 seconds. Often our ingredients are grown on the small farms of our Wisconsin neighbors, made in the the shop of our local butcher and dairy, or, like some of our mushrooms, harvested from the grounds of our twenty acres. Our business mission and vision is defined by the ethics, values, and interests of the founder and chef, Maaren Spears: do what she loves in an authentic and sustainable way, spread peace, compassion, and love while celebrating life, community, and people...all while sharing well made food. Through this alchemy of interests, passions, and vision Maaren has sustained a unique, well-respected, and successful catering business every spring, summer, and fall for over eight years. Our goal is to deliver more than a hand-tossed, fresh baked pizza to your event.
