Event attendees don’t know what they don’t know…. Behind the scenes Sunday at 10pm loading in for our awesome client at the Henry B Convention center tomorrow when event doors open at 7am. And security didn’t know b/c of miscommunication (story of my life) but we sweet talk ourselves in.

My crew helped a mama out & it will make tomorrow morning a whole lot easier.

USA beats Pakistan tonight, and that was a huge surprise and will change the rest of the tournament! Goooooo USA 🇺🇸

Our favorite part of each match over the last several days is seeing us become ONE world. ONE human existence. 2 countries can compete in a GAME and be friendly. This was an incredible reminder we are all sharing the same air, we look at the same moon, we shade ourselves from the same sun, our ocean waters eventually meet.

Ever been to the at 5am?! Ever get your workout for the day with a lion, tiger & bear? We have! Today we assisted our buddies at with their Mental Health 5K “Run Wild”. We had great weather (humidity helps you sweat it out), great attendance, great music by , great partners & all for a great cause!

Site visits & tastings…. Someone has to do it! We are super excited to be the selected event firm to coordinate & manage 16 VIP events, hospitality services & opening ceremonies for the Cricket World Cup arriving in Grand Prairie June 1–June 8! This is the first time the Cricket World Cup has ever come to the states and Texas is very lucky to have the opening ceremonies and 1st match, USA vs Canada. Then off to NYC & Fort Lauderdale before heading back to West Indies.

We didn’t know much about cricket before last week, but quickly becoming the pros…

This past Saturday we had the honor of designing and managing Roses & Races Derby gala for our friends at and these smiles say it all. Most importantly, they exceeded their fundraising goal and brought a whole lot of joy to some very deserving individuals!

Our guests dressed to the nines, opened their hearts and wallets in the live and silent auctions & danced the night away!

It feels like months ago but really just 2 weeks ago… we had the honor of designing the 2024 International Citizen of the Year Gala & what an event it was! It is our 9th year deisging this signature event for our city and amazing client. We 💙 all of the mutual hard work, respect, camaraderie, support for mankind and impact towards international affairs this group of our closet 500 friends brings forth. The 22nd Secretary of Defense Bob Gates joined us for a moderated chat by the wonderful Eddie Aldrete for a standing ovation.

What a week in Austin! We were truly blessed to produce the 2024 Retreat. 4 days of sessions, team building, offsites, lots and lots of food (and when the hotel doesn’t have what we want, buying out a shake shack sure works well), and the big ta-da with a little pickle ball competition! Designing corporate events & executive retreats is always exciting for us BUT… when I get to do it for several of my old racker buddies and lifelong friends and supporters of JLen Events, I can’t help but beam! 😁 We slipped right back into our fun banter & collaboration!

Now, I am incredibly eager to get home to my guys and a weekend of soccer & baseball! ⚽️⚾️ before spring gala season kicks off for us next week….

Ahhh! We’re so excited to use LED bracelets as a crucial component of our gala tomorrow night with Winston Schools. When guests arrive they will receive their branded bracelet that our team will activate when it’s time to remind them of important things like, check your live auction item, time to take your seat in the main ballroom, 10 minute mission moment & silent auction ending, etc. A friendly check in team member & a description + color key in their program will explain what their bracelets are doing.
