Happy Thursday, flower friends! ๐ป Today, I want to share with you the deep joy and gratitude I feel witnessing the magic of giving and receiving flowers through our Blooms of Kindness project. In these events, participants have the beautiful opportunity to hand-deliver small floral arrangements with 3 or 5 flowers to anyone they feel needs a smile on their face. It's truly a floral gesture filled with love and kindness.
Personally, witnessing the expressions of joy and gratitude on the faces of those who receive these floral arrangements fills my heart with happiness and satisfaction. Seeing how a small gesture can brighten someone's day and remind them of how special they are is truly magical.

Today, I want to share a special story about how I fell in love with tulips. It happened on an Easter Sunday over 30 years ago. My now-husband, who was my boyfriend at the time, surprised me with a glass vase filled with about 30 tulips. It was incredibly exciting!
He had coordinated with my mother, who owned a flower shop, so that when I woke up that Sunday, the tulips would be the first thing I saw in my room. Though I don't have photos from that moment, the image is as clear in my mind as if it were yesterday.

New month, new energy! Yesterday, I rearranged my studio, something that brings me immense joy. Those who know me are aware of how much I love moving and rearranging everything. Since closing the flower shop in 2009, I have greatly missed rearranging the store and the windows with each season. So, I started doing it at home, moving furniture, and arranging everything differently in a new space. Now, even my daughter rearranges her room at least twice a year. Rearranging spaces not only allows me to renew the energy of the place but also fosters creativity and helps us see things from new perspectives. Each change is an opportunity to clear out the old and make room for the new, which is a wonderful metaphor for life itself. The benefits of this activity are many: it revitalizes the environment, improves the flow of energy, fosters creativity, and provides a sense of personal achievement and renewal. It is a form of active meditation that connects us more deeply with our surroundings and ourselves. Now, both my studio and I are ready to enjoy and savor the summer among flowers.
