newest 2023 edition of the Mike + Rose family—baby Echo! 🍼 Alongside them is their faithful and ever-loyal deaf doggie, Loki, who's been a part of their journey since the beginning. (Yes, I admit, I often find myself yelling to Loki, even though he can't hear a word!)

It was an absolute joy to work with Rose and Mike again as I captured their newborn son Echo's first photographs. I was thrilled to see them as new parents, and their love and adoration for their little one were evident in every moment.

The shoot took place at their beautiful home, which was filled with love and warmth. As I arrived, I was greeted by Rose, who was beaming with joy and excitement to show off her little bundle of joy. Mike was equally thrilled, and together, they showed me around their home, pointing out the spots where they would like the photographs to be taken.

As we began the shoot, I was struck by the love and tenderness that Rose and Mike showered upon their son Echo. They held him close, cooed over him, and made him feel safe and comfortable. It was heartwarming to see how much they adored him and how naturally they had taken to being parents.

We started with some shots of Echo in his adorable wraps capturing all the little details that make a newborn so special. I loved how he looked so peaceful and content, surrounded by his loving parents. Rose and Mike were so patient and gentle with him, making sure he was comfortable and happy throughout the shoot.

As we moved onto family portraits, I could see how proud Rose and Mike were of their little family. They held Echo close, kissed him on his forehead, and whispered sweet nothings in his ear. It was evident that they were already creating a bond that would last a lifetime.

It was a cold February day when I had the pleasure of photographing the maternity session of Rose and Mike, two of the kindest people I have ever met. They were my wedding clients first, and over the years, I have had the honor of watching their family grow. And now, they were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy, who was born just 4 days later!

As I arrived at Boulder Ridge, I was greeted by the couple's warm smiles and genuine excitement for the day ahead. Despite the chilly weather, they were both glowing with happiness and anticipation. As we started the shoot, Rose and Mike's love and connection with each other were evident in every shot. They were so natural in front of the camera, and their joy was contagious just like on their wedding day!

Throughout the shoot, I couldn't help but admire the incredible bond that Rose and Mike shared. They were both so sweet, generous, and caring towards each other, and it was evident in every gesture and expression. Their love was not only palpable, but it was also inspiring.

As the session progressed, we captured some truly magical moments. I was moved by the love that they already had for their son , and I knew that they would make amazing parents.

Lunessa is such a beautiful and loving girl, always bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. We've been so blessed to have Bert, Joy, Kaydee, and Jaime in our lives for the past 4 years. We first met when they were choosing their wedding venue at Cisco Grove and we've been friends ever since. They are an amazing family with an incredible connection and love for each other that is truly inspiring. We've had so many great dinners together over the years and it's been such a blessing to be back in California after our move to Missouri. Unfortunately, we weren't able to be present at their wedding, but we were so happy to hear about all the love and joy that filled the day. We can't wait to make many more memories with this special family in the future.

We had such an incredible December photoshoot at Dry Creek Park with my amazing friends, Mom Trivia, Dad James, Camren, and Lunessa. The weather was perfect and the scenery was stunning, making for some truly breathtaking photos. But the best part of the day was getting to spend time with these amazing people. Mom Trivia is always full of energy and laughter, Dad James is the rock of the family, Camren is a talented artist, and Lunessa is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet. I feel so grateful to have them in my life and I'm so thankful we were able to capture these special memories together. Here's to many more photoshoots and adventures with this amazing group!

I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot with the lovely Samantha, Joe, and their adorable daughter Paisley at Quarry Park in Rocklin. Despite the cold and foggy weather, they made the photoshoot so much fun and warm. Samantha is an amazing Personal trainer and Bodybuilder , and Joe is a talented Barber , but it's clear that their greatest accomplishment is their beautiful daughter Paisley. She's full of energy and laughter, and it was a joy to capture these special memories with such an amazing family. We can't wait to do another photoshoot with them in the future!

Kevin + Puukaini
These lovebirds hired us a year before their wedding, after a referral from former bride . Daniel and I randomly decided to move across the country to missouri and all our plans got a bit messed up. We weren’t able to do their complementary engagment shoot and they were so sweet about it! We drove 69 hours total to do their wedding in May 15, 2022. We drive across the country with three kids and full cargo of equipment. Never ending bathroom stops , expensive gas and so many unforgettable memories.

Kevin and Puukaini have been together for 10 years and have known each other for 18! Loved every second of their day and it was incredible and fun wedding! Kevin wore picture of his late grandma on his chest, Puukaini had such eye tearing moment with her mom and bridesmaids, made me cry to and I dropped my camera on the floor😅 That answers question why I always have 2-3 cameras on me!

For those of you who followed my page for a while, you know Trivia.
I met her 7 years ago, at my first ever Zumba class. I was so nervous and was kept hiding in the back, because come on my moves were very very bad! She was so sweet and encouraging , that it didn’t take long time for us to become friends. When she met James, there was something absolutely magical about these guys. The energy, love, sparkles and they looked so damn good togather. When James set up secret proposal at Castello di Amorosa, in Calistoga I was beyond excited, because it was my first surprise proposal. I took my camera with me and we went “wine tasting”
We were taking pictures along the way, so when James pulled the ring out, she totally didn’t expect that!

When Wedding day finally came, it was so hard for me to keep my emotions to myself, because not every weekends your best friend is getting married. When you meet the right person you know it. You can’t stop thinking about them. They’re your best friend. And your soulmate. You can’t wait to spend the rest of your life with them. No one and nothing else can compare .

Im wishing them nothing but never-ending love, The right person can change your life for the better, and they could even give meaning to your existence. You should never underestimate how special someone can be to you..

I’m always over delivering and it’s a problem!
Knowing what you are doing, makes me make 1500 images and more. Culling, editing, delivering. It’s not just a magical camera setting, camera doesn’t do the work, same as having good mixer doesn’t make cakes by itself 🙂
