Kickin it foam-free and California-cool-textural with eucalyptus, olive branches, and fresh oranges. 🍊
Our original color palette was in shades of tangerine, rust, merlot and sage. When Holly and Mark had to postpone, I wanted to honor our mostly-fall-inspired palette but bring it up to speed with a hint of spring.
✨Yellow has entered the chat✨
We incorporated pops of lemon yellow to bring a cheerful, fresh feeling. I happen to love when there is contrast in a design so we also discussed adding in some plum.
Those periwinkle flowers are Pride of Madeira. I snipped them from my yard right before we left for set up on the morning of the wedding.
I knew they would be a perfectly unexpected shape and color to add into the ceremony site - they’re one of my favorite details.
I have the pleasure of designing for clients who trust me and my team to do our thing. Vanessa and I loved cranking out this look while Kristine and Karine rocked the reception.
Easy, breezy, done and done. I’d say mix drop, but I feel like dropping some citrus would be more appropriate. So: 🍊

Am I still taking flower orders? Also yes. 💗
Making flowers, packaging up pretty candles and caramels, and tying everything with a bow is my jam. 💝🏹💌

Hi there! These are my tips on how to keep your flowers alive for as long as possible.
1) Trust Your Florist
Ask your florist to recommend long-lasting varieties and create an arrangement designed for longevity. Carnations will last far longer than a garden rose, so keep this in mind.
2) Placement
Keep your flowers in a cool, shady place in your home. Flowers will wilt more easily if exposed to high temperatures and direct sun.
3) Change the Water
I recommend changing the water every 3 days. For the longest possible flower enjoyment time, change the water every other day or every two days.
The flower food packets are helpful to include if you trim your flowers after adding new, cool, fresh water. If you aren’t planning to trim the stems, there isn’t a measurable benefit to adding the flower food.
I hope these tips help!

There are many ways to wrap a hand-tied bouquet and gosh, darn it, the Devil is in the Details!
I like to keep it simple, chic, and eco-friendly with pretty tissue paper and exquisite ribbon tied with a bow as the cherry on top. 🍒
