Today IE Goth went to mediation with Six Flags over breach of contract regarding Goth on the Mountain. It was a joke!

Six flags was 20 minutes late, refused to participate and threatened to counter sue over nothing all while wasting everyone’s time. The one and only offer they did make was so insulting even the mediator appeared disgusted with them. So next step is securing a court date and moving to a jury trial.

The next year is going to be one of the most challenging of my life. I am in for the fight. At this point it is not just about money but about standing up for our community. Over the time I have dealt with Six Flags they have treated the Gothic Community as a whole with disregard and unimportance. They have inferred that those who are dark alternative are less than their other patrons and not even worth a conversation. They think we are small and nothing when in fact we are massive.

I will be working to release the story in full so stay tuned. This fight has only just begun.
