Last week we hosted the All Faiths Food Bank Turkey Distribution Drive at Ed Smith Stadium.

With help from Brandon Hyde and Brian Roberts, we were able to help serve more than 720 households!

Here's a look at our 2024 Spring Training schedule!

Our Florida Complex League (FCL) Orioles will begin play on Monday, June 5, at Ed Smith Stadium. The FCL O’s are scheduled to play 28 FCL home games between June 5 and August 22.

Home games begin at 12:00 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday, and at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays. There is no cost to attend the games, which will be held on the Main Field. Fans may enter through the Left Field Gate 30 minutes before first pitch, unless otherwise noted. Free parking is available in the East Lot at the corner of 12th Street and Tuttle Avenue. Concession stands will be closed. Game times and locations are subject to change without notice due to weather and field conditions. For details, visit Orioles.com/Sarasota.

Ed Smith Stadium will once again host the Sarasota Orchestra for its annual Outdoor Pops concert on Friday, May 5, and
Saturday, May 6. This year’s theme is “Dancing in the Streets: Music of Motown,” giving fans the chance to hear funky
sounds from the height of the Motown era transformed into a symphonic experience.

The Orioles and USA Baseball will host the U-18 Baseball World Cup here at Ed Smith Stadium from Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 18. The tournament, which is returning to the United States for the first time since 1955, will feature some of the best amateur players from across the globe!

Last night one of the game’s best was recognized in the Hall of Fame.

Buck O’Neil’s barrier-breaking career spanned nearly 70 years as a player, coach, manager, scout, and civil rights leader. President of Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Bob Kendrick, speaks about Buck’s career and our minor league complex which is named after him.
