The dim event lighting in the Haw River Ballroom often isn't the most conducive for getting great photos, but chef Amber got some amazing mouth-watering photos of the southern comfort food station setup from the wedding this evening.

Fried chicken made with locally raised chicken, organic braised collard greens, creamy mac n cheese penne, roasted organic Brussels sprouts, fresh house made salad and fluffy scratch made biscuits and cornbread... it's a truly delicious and memorable NC wedding!

Since 2008, the Saxapahaw General Store has been a trusted community pillar of Saxapahaw, offering a gourmet menu, specialty groceries, locally produced meats, produce and gift items. The General Store has also been the primary caterer for events at the Haw River Ballroom, providing top quality food, service and planning for hundreds of weddings and other special events. We know the farmers who produce the meat, milk, eggs and produce that go into our food, and we know the Haw River Ballroom. For almost 10 years, the General Store has been working with the Ballroom to create memorable events for people all over the country.
