Hello, wonderful Marigold & Green community!
I'm Liz Rhodes! I reside in Seattle with my husband, Josh, and two feline companions - Boo Radley and Willie Nelson. I founded Marigold & Green in 2022 as a break from my corporate job and due to my love for gardening and my love of giving flowers. As a proud member of the Slow Flowers Society, I centered around sustainability and local floral connections.
I love making connections and learning from this community. I prioritize local flowers in my designs and support regional growers when our local fields are planted and tended to for an early spring harvest.
Exciting changes are on the horizon for Marigold & Green in 2024! My husband and I are going to be building a few things for our local florist community - think wedding arches/floral fabrications that are made locally!!
While we evolve our services, rest assured that our core offerings remain steadfast:
- Monthly local and sustainable flower subscriptions
- Pre-orders for special occasions โ think Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Graduation
- A la carte floral arrangements for intimate celebrations like micro-weddings and engagements
- Sustainable sympathy flower crafted with care
- Engaging in workshops with our incredible community partners
Join me on this blooming adventure, where every petal tells a story, and each arrangement is a testament to the beauty of local, sustainable floral design.
(I better get back to work- see my Josh in the background waiting for me to stop gramming and help him weld up something. ๐)
Cheers to flowers, connection, and all the joy they bring in 2024! โจ๐ต๏ธ๐
