I’ve preached authenticity over perfection for a long time. Here’s authentic:

Without being able to work... at all, sometimes being a small business owner means doing WHATEVER it takes to keep things afloat.

Today, I’m painting a house. Just trying to keep my business open so when it all comes back I’ll still be here for you.

Is it uncomfortable? Incredibly. Is it necessary? Right now it is.

To my other small business friends, here’s to being willing to do whatever it takes. I’m with you.

Salt Water Farms in San Juan island may be one of the best new in the islands. They’re brand new this year. I’m super excited to be back in a couple weeks and I’ll have a full review for you then.

Does it matter? Yes. It does. It’s worth carving out the time to make a 120 mile round trip (with a ride) to see a wedding venue I’ve never been to. My clients trust me with a once-in-a-lifetime celebrations, I’ll do everything I can to make it perfect.
