Benefit concert coming up on August 17 to help save the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center! Three bands with diverse styles in the acoustic tradition - the all female DUO QUARTET with local guitarist Nina Ge**er, CRYING UNCLE featuring hot young pickers who grew up in the California bluegrass music scene, and SONOMUSETTE, "Bay Area ambassadors of French chanson".

Come out to support the community center and see some great music!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Sonoma County Bluegrass and Folk Festival yesterday! Great support from Sebastopol Kiwanis, Sonoma County Folk Society, California Bluegrass Association, and the many volunteers it takes to put this on.

Fun to see the Modern Hicks again in a reunion performance, along with so many other great bands. Thank you Sebastopol Community Cultural Center!!

Really glad someone had the foresight to make these videos. I recall having a really good time whenever I entered the place. Great bluegrass seven days a week. It was a who's who of all the players at the time. You never knew what to expect during Monday jams. Out of the blue, I got to play with Grisman and Bromberg.
