They said we couldn't put 21 bands on stage over 3 days and it would work. We did and it worked. So we're gonna do it again this September when it's cooler. Lots of connections made at this show and alot of the bands are playing in the 50th. It's gonna be a good one.

I had a dream and turned it into reality. My wife, Jami Mae, wouldn't let me quit. She kept saying that if anyone can pull this off, it's you. All my friends said the same thing. I've got people coming up to me and messaging me, asking if this is really gonna happen. I got people who also shake my hand and tell me not to give up, and I'm the guy they want to do this. You see, im a local. And im from the poor side of sedalia and made my mind up early I was gonna make myself into something. Well, you will be at 1420 M highway in Sedalia Mo this weekend and you can witness it 1st hand. And ill say this publicly, even if I hadn't bought the copyrights and trademarks of the show, I would have still thrown a big party at our place. This was never about money or fame. This was about the Ozark Music Festivals heritage and the fact I knew if I bought it, we could keep it here. Did you know since we secured the legal side of rhe show, that Woodstock was the only other old school rock festival still intact. AND when they destroyed the Woodstock venue, it was legally made where the name couldn't ever be used again? By retaining the rights, I kept it in Sedalia. Had I not got involved, someone, actually anyone, could have bought it and it could have been gone forever. So, next time you sedalians want to cuss me, stop and think about what I just said.
