As I sit here another year older, I sometimes contemplate how long I can continue this journey. The family moments I’ve missed from making playlists in my office, setting up for events and being away from my wife and kids almost 50% of my weekends this year… but then I consider what happened last night at an event I worked on my birthday when the bride presented me with a personalized cake.

This was THEIR day. They 100% did not have to even acknowledge my existence behind my booth, but went out of their way to make me feel appreciated while I was away from my family.

Thank you Niccole and Miles Gebel.

I will never forget this feeling. 🥰🥳

We're a couple days in on the public request playlist for SB-L's Homecoming Dance next weekend and there's 400+ songs in there already. I've had to delete a few (Breaking Bad Theme Song, Alvin and the Chipmunk versions of songs, WAP, etc.), but it's actually pretty helpful... after you sort through the troll songs. ;)
