We are so proud of our pasture herd! Through several photoshoots they have assisted with & a few very talented & amazing photographers we have had the best pictures and many very entertaining days at Rockin Rivers Ranch, LLC.
(Photo credits listed under each photo). I do want to spotlight & thank these ladies for all their patience & hard work! Annette Barnhill Shankles, Carley Roach with Roach Collective & Brooke Herrington Harvey with Brooke Harvey Photography! They make our wild & crazy pasture herd (that likely looks like chaos to clients) look so peaceful & easy. With the heat of summer coming along we will hold off on any additional shoots until cooler weather returns.
We are all still waiting the arrival of Elliott & Priscilla’s little one & we don’t want to cause any additional stress on her with the heat at this time. We will post pictures as soon as the new baby arrives 💕

It was a beautiful evening with another beautiful couple. Lucas & Katie are truly soulmates. They are blessed with wonderful support from great friends & family. We loved every minute getting to know them, watching every second of fun they all had together all night. Much love & many blessings for years to come ❤️

We’ve known Lucas since he was young & he has grown to be such an amazing young man! We met Katie several years ago & they both went to school with our own kids growing up. Katie has been our right hand in caring for a lot of our animals. She was the best with Dr. B, always knew what we needed & we miss her greatly at the clinic. We know she’s loving every moment she gets to enjoy their little ones. We wish you all the best for many years to come.

We will praise you in this storm! The loss of any tree on property though any storm hurts my heart. The loss of a Cedar tree hurts my soul. With loss there are also blessings. God protected all our animals, our home, the venue, barn & so much more. We will have a very large supply of firewood & find a beautiful use for all of the cedar. Derek & Brian already started cutting beautiful slices of each tree knowing what I was thinking ❤️

Let’s talk about “Day of Event Insurance” 💒 💍 🤍 This is such an under utilized service. It’s your long awaited special day. The one you have been dreaming of, planning for and investing in. Pasture horses feeling frisky in the lights & cooler weather.

My phone does not do this justice at all. First if you drive by at night the woods are not a blaze. It’s just the string lights in the trees. I caught several horses frolicking in front of the lights tonight at the venue.

It’s a busy week here at the barn! As we finish things up, organize, install & tie up any lose ends! There’s a long story of how this came to be but it truly was just God’s plan. We have a lot (a lot) of horses which led to searching for more land a few years ago. Many, many things we thought would work out ended up not coming full circle & when the last one fell I got a “ding” on my Zillow app. It happened at the perfect moment at the perfect place. Here we are now nearly 2 years later with this beautiful place, beautiful grounds, this gorgeous barn & so much hard work by so many! Today Brian (he’s not on FB but he’s the guy you probably always see out here doing a little bit of everything) got the Cedar Cross built! This was requested by a very special couple who came out for our first viewing long before we were officially ready. We were still bare bones, they looked around, listened to our vision, plans & had faith in us. They were our first couple to view & sign with us many months ago. We are very excited for them, all the families & friends as their special day will be here soon! This Cross isn’t perfect, neither are we but God’s love & grace is. It’s very fitting this Cross is made of Cedar for Cedar Moss Barn. Also, in honor & memory of The DeMoss family Marylin & Ed who first dreamed, built & shared this property with so many.
