Happy Monday Friends & Fans! Thank you to all who participated, we appreciate the time you took to vote. We posted this raffle across a handful of groups and on IG. In total, we had 80 entries. Each entry was assigned a random number, then we put the number in the Google Random Number Generator (screenshot in comments). Found the person, verified they completed all the steps, and voila! Thanksgiving has now past but our staff are still hard at work. This morning we were busy preparing meals made possible by the generous donations by our clients to feed the local healthcare staff that have been working tirelessly. Holiday lunches were delivered today to UI Health to feed the doctors and nurses of the anesthesiology department.
We can’t thank our clients enough for their generous donations and we couldn’t get the food out the door without our hardworking dedicated staff. In the end it’s to thank those who have been sacrificing everything to keep us healthy and safe.

With chef and owner, Andrew Kalish working hard to get Thankgiving dinner ready for families all over Chicago and the North Shore suburbs, we reached out to creative mastermind, Kim Bloomberg of Studio Art Beat for a fun activity the kids can do to make this Thanksgiving more festive.
Here's the scoop in Kim's words:
Do you still have leftover Halloween candy? There’s only one more day until Thanksgiving and this is a yearly tradition in our house. We started making these turkeys in 2007 and haven’t stopped since! The best part is that the kids love getting involved.* Don’t worry kids - I only made a few so we can make them together this afternoon. There are so many variations on this treat. Today we made the face with whoppers on some and kisses on the others. We also alternated between rolos and peanut butter cups. Licorice, Oreos, some frosting, licorice and candy eyes...it will keep them busy all day. Enjoy and happy thanksgiving.
With Thanksgiving orders due today, Andrew Kalish is super excited to get your meals ready for next week. But we'd like to know what your favorite Thanksgiving side dish is that you can't wait to dig into next week. The favorite around here is our decadent cornbread stuffing. When the state of Illinois shut down last spring, his crew heard partnered with GiveInKind Meals for Chicago Area COVID-19 Healthcare Workers and Packed with Purpose and shifted operations to support those on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. They delivered hundreds of meals to frontline workers at hospitals throughout the city and Chicago's North Shore. Since making delicious memorable food is what we do best, the best way for us to help our front-line heroes is to bring them the support they need as they sacrifice themselves for our community.
