"As a photographer, I absolutely adore photographing weddings at the Southport Community Building. It's such a hidden gem as a wedding venue but I recommend it to anyone wanting to host their wedding at the coast in NC with beautiful views of the ocean behind their ceremony. The reception space is large and a blank space, allowing for couples to decorate in any way they wish. There are spots at and near the venue that make for gorgeous backdrops for wedding photos as well!"

The Southport Community Building is looking for a Facilitator to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning building for events and weddings. Your job will be to be attentive to the needs of the building during the event, as well as check the grounds and systems (e.g., thermostats) on a regular basis and identify needs.
