It’d be super great if it was golden hour or a little cloudy all the time, but that’s not what the sun does. Getting super comfortable shooting in all kinds of light is the goal, and we’re getting there. Grateful for my mentorship with earlier this year, best money I’ve ever spent learning more about lighting.

Im one of those people who won’t bust out the Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. At the same time though, it’s a week before Thanksgiving and I’ve started up the Christmas music and Christmas movies, so Im not a total n**i about it. But having this season of gratitude has always been super important to me. It’s good to be grateful for what we have throughout the year, but life gets hard and busy and it’s easy to forget to slow down and really realize how much good is in our life. I hope everyone gets a moment in the next week or so to really sit and think through all the amazing things and people around you ❤️

Yesterday I was thinking about what my goals were for photography at the beginning of this year and realized I actually achieved everything I wanted to do without even realizing it. I think it’s easy to get caught up in where you want to be that sometimes you lose sight of all the awesome things you’ve already done. Definitely need to give myself a little bit more credit, and I’m sure you do too 😊❤️
