Congratulations to Amy and Ivan. We had a glorious wedding last night and everything was perfect. The surrounding areas were hit by horrible storms and we didn't see a drop after 3:00. We found out afterwards that the power went out all around us too and didn't have any trouble.

We did an the Murder Mystery Party last night Hollywood style 1935. Everyone did such an incredible job dressing and playing their roles. It was hysterical watching it all play out. Everyone did the "escape room " puzzles and investigated the crime scene including dusting for fingerprints. Dinner was amazing. What an perfect night. I can't wait to come up with the next themed Murder Mystery . I am on a roll with the unsolved true crimes. Fact is crazier than fiction.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night. We hosted a a "Witchcraft" party for the Harvest Moon. translated to a bunch of friends making fall crafts such as wreaths and things. It was a very causal way of marking the end of summer and the beginning of fall. We had great food and drinks. Everyone had such a great time. The kids got to make stuff and run around too. The husbands sat around chewing the fat and leaving us to our creative visions. I think I will absolutely do this again next year too. I didn't get a single photo because I was too busy having fun. (If anyone has pics, please share) I will mark this one as a huge success. Everyone loves being creative. If the calendar allows, I will host a Christmas Craft party to mark the end of fall and beginning of winter.
