Wrapping up Women's National History Month by introducing you to Kaylin! Kaylin is truly a Jane of all traits, which is why we are honored to have her as apart of our team! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Kaylin loves working events and weddings in Tahoe! Kaylin was a Blue Sky Events bride, and loved her experience with Blue Sky Events so much that she wanted to work with our team!

"There is some magic in knowing that Blue Sky Events helped walk me down the aisle, holding my veil and all, and now I get to return the favor; quite LITERALLY."

Kaylin is a graphic designer by trade, and has a soft spot for all the signage, invitation suites, and fine details in the wedding business. She runs a heavy haul business with her husband! She was born in Carson Valley so working in Tahoe is really like working from home for her.

She is a fan of all the non-traditional and new wedding things; from colored dresses, alternative aisle songs, and out of the box food and beverage ideas! She feels that it really showcases the couple when their personalities shine through.

Continuing in our celebration of Women’s History Month, we would like to introduce you to Alicia! Alicia is a Lead Planner at Blue Sky Events. Alicia was born and raised in Minden, NV which is only 25 minutes away from our favorite place, Lake Tahoe. She loves Tahoe and has so much fun hiking, swimming, and paddle boarding here. Alicia has a unique background in real estate and has also planned events for the past 14 years for friends, family, and her local community. 🤍 Peep the Spider-Man balloon arch that she made for her son Adam’s birthday! Alicia enjoys CrossFit and how it has made her stronger when working at events, especially on those big setup days. Alicia has been married to her husband Aaron for 10 years. Alicia has a deep joy in creating events that truly encompass the story being told while also bringing enjoyment to everyone involved.

Lindsey has 20 years of industry experience, and has lived in Tahoe for over 10 years.

🪄 Dubbed the Wedding Fairy Godmother, she loves to make magic at each event by creating memorable moments for her couples and their guests alike. She prides herself in planning an event from all angles to ensure her clients have the best experience possible.

She has a 13 year old daughter, Lyla and is currently planning her own wedding this October to her fiancé Ray.

“The first time I set eyes on Lake Tahoe I fell in love with the natural beauty and all it has to offer! When my husband and I started Blue Sky Events 20 years ago I was so excited to share this special place and create unforgettable experiences. My passion for creating seamless Tahoe weddings and events comes from my desire to create the same magical moments for our guests as I had when I first discovered Lake Tahoe. Starting a business in Lake Tahoe has afforded us so many opportunities to meet incredible people along the way and build a home and community for our boys. I feel incredibly grateful everyday that I get to share my love for this place with people from all around the world.”

As guests entered the tent for the reception celebration, they got to pick their favorite flower or 2! We even had a few guests make mini-bouquets. Each guest found this to be so fun, and we could see how special it made each person feel. A wonderful & whimsical favor & seating chart idea!
