Bullfighters would step into dangerous situations, placing themselves between man and beast. The bull rider being hung up, knocked out, or just in the wrong place at the wrong time would be shielded by the bullfighter's swift moves. Dodging, juking, jiving, and diving to distract the full brunt of the 1000 pounds of high strung muscle. A high stakes game of cat and mouse. This conceived the sport of one on one "American Freestyle Bullfighting". Not to be compared to the Spanish or Mexican style bullfighting, so notorious for it's eventual and unfortunate demise of our bull friends. These bulls are our friends and treated like the professional athletes they are. Permit Bull riding is the 8 second chance for the up and coming Bull riders to compete for their coveted PRCA Cards.
