The Miracle Mile, celebrating its 99th anniversary this year, was the first shopping district outside of downtown Stockton.

The Miracle Mile Improvement District (MMID) was formed in 2007 as a non-profit organization to improve the safety, security, appearance, and economic growth of the area. It was conceived by Joe Plecarpo, a Stockton developer, who got the idea from a similar stretch known as the Miracle Mile on Los Angeles's Wilshire Boulevard. The Miracle Mile grew from a sprinkling of homes and land where people

went jack rabbit hunting to a continuous line of stores, most locally owned, where people received first name customer service. The heyday of the Miracle Mile was during the fifties and sixties. By the nineties its popularity had waned due to of the construction of outlying malls and greater auto dependence. The Miracle Mile District includes all the businesses fronting on Pacific Avenue from Alpine to Harding, and those businesses on Harding Way from El Dorado Street to Lincoln Street. Now the Miracle Mile is coming back due to the concerted efforts of the MMID and the merchants and property owners located within its boundaries. There have been beautification efforts, infrastructure upgrades, security patrols and events which are reminiscent of days gone by.

It is a FREE, Family Friendly Event that we would love to see you all enjoy! BEST of all, our merchants will be open so we invite you to head down early to get a bite to eat and do a little shopping too! 🛍

We will have LIVE Music for all to enjoy while you are checking out the incredible cars on display! There is also be a Wine & Beer Garden and a pumpkin patch for the kids! 🙌🏽 Local vendors will be set up around the area for you to visit as well.

The Miracle Mile Car Show & Concert is back on The Mile October 19, 2024. 🚘

Have a car you want to enter in the competition? We are offering an Early Bird entrance fee of $45 until 10/14!!! After that fees will increase to $65. SPACE IS LIMITED SO APPLY NOW.

With your fee you will receive an a dash plaque and qualification for car show awards.

We are also looking for small business who are interested in becoming part of the event as well! 10X10 spots are currently available to rent that day for $100.
