Dinner at Twin Vines in Panora! This was the 4th year now that we’ve traveled to this beautiful Iowa countryside just outside Lake Panorama. It was a gorgeous evening at the vineyard. We hope to be back next year!

Just finished up our 5th event in 4 days at the amazing Harvestville Farm! Adam and Julie are the absolute best hosts! Tonight’s dinner guests were all service industry pros from the SE Iowa area. I love cooking for other chefs and restaurant folk!

Beautiful evening at the Stine Barn for the concours gala! All proceeds went to children’s cancer connections. We got to see the award winning 1953 Mercedes along with the new 2025 Lamborghini! Thanks again to my amazing staff for making this a great event!

Over 300 guests dined at the Iowa State Fair for the Farm to Fair 2024 dinner! This was such a great event. We had over 20 assistants from 4-H programs all over Iowa. The kids did a great job helping plate and serve the dinner. Thank you for heading up the event and a huge shout out to my chef partners on this one! Couldn’t have done it without you! Last night was a special dinner for the Ames Farmers Market. Even the Ames High football team came out to help serve the 136 guests. We used over a dozen of the markets vendors in the meal! It took a bunch of people coming together to pull this one off. Thanks to everyone that supports local!

We had the pleasure of cooking for a private event at Rose Farm for the National Pork Board. Each course centered around a different cut of pork. 1) Pork rillettes toast 2) Pork belly risotto 3) Chili espresso pork loin 4) Candied bacon chocolate tort. Heading back to Harvestville Farm!

Over the next few days we will be sharing details on chefs for our upcoming Farm to Table dinners. Kicking things off this spring is Aaron Holt from Des Moines. Aaron has quickly become a personal friends and you will not meet a nicer guy! Named the Iowa Restaurant Association’s 2018 Chef of the Year, Aaron has years of experience in the kitchen, previously at RoCA as executive chef and most recently doing countless Farm to Table dinners across the state at some beautiful locations. Aaron is also a mentor to many up and coming chefs while also giving back to his community through countless fund raiser dinners. You will not meet a more passionate person about local food. Aaron runs Doolittle Farm, an organic farm growing seasonal fruits, vegetables, micro greens, and edible flowers in Story City, Iowa, and will soon host dinners in his own 1905 farmhouse.
