Attention juniors and seniors! Next week on Monday, September 9 from 6:30-7:30 PM, we will be offering a College Prep Night for both parents and students. This session will include an overview of Naviance, the program our students use for career interest inventories, college searches, transcript requests, resumes, and more. Juniors will hear a presentation about finding a “right fit college,” while seniors will receive information about paying for college, scholarships, and the timeline for the FAFSA. If you have any questions about this event or preparing for your college journey, don't hesitate to email your counselor–they're ready to help!

Congratulations to the cast of Cinderella: Enchanted Edition. We had a great first read through this afternoon and we're excited to dive in after labor day.

Auditions for our fall musical Cinderella: Enchanted Edition start today from 3:00-7:00 PM. Here are our tips again if you are auditioning: it is required to come both today and tomorrow, wear shoes you can dance in, and come prepared to sing 32 bars of a song of your choice with sheet music or a karaoke track, not acapella. Break a Leg!

Happy first day of school! Our informational meeting for the musical and TEC will be tomorrow, August 23 in the auditorium from 3:00-4:00 PM. Stop by if you have any questions before auditions next week or about joining our Technical Entertainment Crew. We have a few tips if you are auditioning from our directors: it is required to come both days, wear shoes you can dance in, and come prepared to sing 32 bars of a song of your choice with sheet music or a karaoke track, not acapella.

The Technical Entertainment Crew and Drama Club are all set up at the freshman and new student orientation ready to show you what they’re all about!

Right after graduation last May, the Drama Club and the Technical Entertainment Crew took a trip to the Marriott Theatre to see The Music Man in the round. Theatre in the round is when the stage is surrounded completely by the audience. Both clubs were able to observe the unique challenges theatre in the round brings.

We have a few exciting things happening for summer camp this week!

At our first annual theatre awards we were able to celebrate the seniors, years of participation and recognize participation in the musical and the play. This was something new this year we wanted to do to recognize the hard work and dedication they have given to the theatre program both on stage and off.
