We've had the pleasure of making magical moments for (a very lucky!) 13 years now and we don't have plans of stopping any time soon. Time flies when you're having fun and we are having a ball!

Some folks think that 13 is an unlucky number, but we're looking forward to an amazing wedding season that is sure to be our best yet.

DON'T SLEEP ON HOLIDAY DECOR!

Just because it's living in the "holiday section" doesn't mean that it wouldn't be a great aesthetic addition to your wedding day. A quick trip through a will show you what I mean.

I'm obsessed with this disco ball garland and the selection of super lux ribbons is gorgeous - velvet, glitter, brocade, tweed - think draping down signage, tied around napkins or menu cards, favors, even included in centerpieces. Embellished pillar candles, all types of lanterns, moss-covered topiaries and even acrylic tags that make great place cards. Plus alllllll of the twinkle and fairy lights. And, tons of sales!!

So, think outside of the joy-of-the-holidays and ponder how some of the season's most beautiful accessories can instead accent your wedding day.

Unique spaces require unique solutions and for our recent wedding at the beautiful we had the opportunity to help curate an event that was just as creative and inspiring as the space and collection itself.

From a statement making staircase to a cake displayed as a work of art - shelving that provided some architecture on an otherwise empty wall and furniture and rentals that melded the classic with the modern. All creative and all representative of our amazing couple, and .

When you feature disco balls in your wedding design, why not include our disco wall to match?!?! Sparkly and unexpected, it shimmers in the breeze and makes for an awesome photo backdrop, feature wall or like we did here, incorporated into a beautiful lounge by with a personalized neon sign.

It's been a season of beautiful and timeless neutral weddings - white/ivory/black/gold - and while I love the clean and classic vibe, my heart will always belong to COLOR!

Yesterday we got to play with allllll of the colors. Bold, saturated tones, colorful tapers and disco balls everywhere made Brigid and Will's big day pop! Plus, I had the chance to get creative and surprise the couple with this fun disco ball chandelier installation over the dancefloor. I'm obsessed with it!

When I say that yesterday's wedding was magical, it's an understatement. The love you could feel between these two and the overwhelming support from their friends and family was just beautiful to witness. Sure, we were lucky enough to capture this beautiful sunset sky but the real glow was on their faces all night long. So honored to have been a part of it. ❤️❤️

Well, nothing honestly! But you know I love to make things a "moment"!! Add in some black and glass terrariums and our fav floral arch and you've got some really sweet wow factor!

Just dropped off our beautiful gold and glass etageres for an event at one of our favs - the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. They're being used as a statement-making back bar installation but they're also great for welcome drinks, a card and gift station, a dessert and sweet treats wall, memorial shelves or even a unique backdrop for your sweetheart table.

Add floral and candles and you've got a dramatic "moment" wherever they end up living at your event!

I like to think of us as "wedding ninjas"... always on the perimeter, lurking in a corner, hiding behind an installation - ready to swoop in and guide when guidance is needed or fix whatever issue might pop up. We're present but not in pics. Always there but not up in your grill. 🤣🤣 Plus it gives us the unique perspective to capture sweet behind-the-scenes moments like this. When you have the most perfect tree and dappled sunlight as your wedding ceremony backdrop... chef's kiss!!!

When a space gives you such natural beauty, lean into it! Don't feel like you need to stick an arch/arbor/something in front of it.

This beautiful floral installation by the talented highlights the simple beauty of the tree but also feels really organic - like it happened to grow there naturally for just such an occasion. 🌿🌿

Whelp, this is 40. No filters but a whole lotta concealer. Four decades of experiences that have shaped me into the person I am now.

Sure, things ache a bit more than they used to. I don't bounce back from long days or too much wine quite as quickly as before. All to be expected.

The thing that they don't always tell you about getting older is that you start to feel more like "yourself" than you ever have before. To be proud of who you are, champion your quirks, know what you believe in and what you just can't abide (and the self awareness to know that there's wiggle room for each). It's a slow burn and it almost sneaks up on you but this sense of self and security isn't something I would ever trade to go back and do it all again.

It's proof to the awkward teenager, the 20-something trying to plan a future and the 30-something who so desperately wanted to forge her own way, that all of it, every zig when I "should" have zagged, every hard day and worse day and amazing day were the trail markers that have gotten me here and will continue to move me along my path.

Yes, it's cliche - y'all know I love a good cliche - but I am just so grateful. To the people I lean on when I'm not feeling so strong and to the people who've made me stronger in turn. To my husband who I've had pleasure of standing next to for 21 years now and somehow feel more thankful every day to be his wife. To the things I thought would break me but showed me that I will always pick myself up and keep moving forward.

To all of it in it's organized chaos of a master plan. Cheers to you, cheers to me and cheers to the wisdom that can only come from time. 🥂🥂

One of the things I love most about my job is the design whiplash of back to back events. Obsessed with our disco ball retro vibes wedding from yesterday and today I have a Winnie the Pooh baby shower.

Different days, different clients, different vibes keep us on our toes and the creative wheels always turning! (Maybe "spinning" is a better word!) 🤣🤣

Sure, it's a ton of hard work (see the 100+ paper lanterns individually hung from yesterday!) but man, is it such an honor to help celebrate so many memorable milestones for amazing people. Thanks for trusting us with them. ❤️❤️

Charity Content Day Vendor Spotlight!!!

This is our amazing styled shoot location for 7/9/23 - HartLot Happening in Elbridge, NY.

Located just 5 miles from the Village of Skaneateles, this industrial event space sits on the grounds of a historic beanery and includes a concrete indoor barn space, an open-air courtyard, catering facilities, a brand new getting ready space and amazing texture and character at every turn.

The perfect spot for intimate weddings, showers, dinners and a host of other event opportunities, HartLot offers a multitude of layout and rental options and creates a cool event "oasis" experience - away from the traffic and crowds that you can experience at other venues.

Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses! Well, you "should" anyway!!

Whether you're a wedding vendor in the midst of a crazy season, a professional up against a deadline, a creative with major inspo block or a parent run ragged with your kid's activities, it's important to create little moments of happiness in your everyday space. For me, having fresh flowers in the house is one of those moments.

It's a little glimmer of beauty amidst the chaos.

I love the process of arranging them, I love their fragrance (especially the fresh-cut lilacs off my tree in the backyard) I love the energy they bring and sometimes, when you feel the pressure of the world, a simple reason to smile is invaluable.

Think about those things in your life that make you pause and, for just a second, pull you out of yourself with joy. And lean into them. You've earned it!

Shouting Happy Anniversary to one of my all-time fav couples!

Their wedding was an incredible day filled with style, citrus colors, wide open spaces and so much laughter. Food trucks, a packed dancefloor, pics with their pups and an epic party vibe all.day.long!

Congrats to the Rosso's. Their wedding lives rent free in my brain as the perfect example of an authentic celebration of two amazing individuals who were lucky enough to find each other and the community that helps support them. Cheers! 🥂

Everyone is excited for spring and summer, but I'm over here like, "is it fall yet"? 😂😂

Maybe it's the color palettes that speak to me. Maybe it's the crisp air full of anticipation or the misty fall evenings where candlelight just hits a bit more dramatically. Either way, I cannot wait.

Guys! We just hit 1,010 followers on Instagram!!

I know it's not a huge number, but I am so grateful for every single one of you for following along on our journey.

If you know me personally, you know that I'm a believer in "signs." I trust my intuition and the signs the universe puts in my path. It might sound a little "woo woo" (makes the Wayne's World flashback hand motion), but it hasn't steered me wrongly yet.

Shortly after my grandmother passed, quite a few years ago now, I started seeing 11:11 everywhere. On the clock, on signs, receipts, all over the place. I read that it can be interpreted as a loved one saying hello and a sign that the universe is sending you a message. Ever since then, especially in times of stress or uncertainty, I also see the numbers 12:12 (let go of worries - positive thoughts bring about positive energy) and 10:10.

Appropriately enough, 10:10, can mean great things are on the horizon if you step out of your comfort zone.

So, thanks to all 1010 of you - you've helped to inspire me to take those uncomfortable steps and show up more on the socials, be more transparent and invite you all into this crazy, amazing, stressful, beautiful job that I am blessed to do everyday.
