Parkinson’s Disease and Daytime Sleepiness - Investigational Medication Might Be Available

Excessive sleepiness is common in Parkinson’s disease often due to side effects from Parkinson’s disease medications and poor sleep at night. See if you qualify to take part in a research study that is working to develop an investigational medication that might help improve excessive daytime sleepiness for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Participants that complete clinical trials can receive a monetary stipend of up to $1,000 in some cases. Contributing to research is also a noble cause that can help the entire PD community. If you qualify you may receive at no expense: an investigational medication, lab work, additional access to physicians and care providers, travel, lodging and food. Travel and lodging for your loved one or caregiver is a possibility.

Speak with a Parkinson's advocate about possible risks and potential opportunities of this clinical trial if diagnosed with PD, between the ages of 35-80 years old and having trouble with excessive daytime sleepiness.

Cheers to the start of Passover! We were very busy in the kitchen between both cleaning and cooking in preparation for the holidays! But we still enjoy tasting too and gefilte fish with some beet horseradish is no exception! Just goes to show you don't have to be Jewish to enjoy gefilte fish!!

Spinach and artichokes quichettes are bitesize but by no means simple! These babies have a hash brown crust, spinach, artichoke, and egg mixed in the middle, with bacon and thyme to garnish! Unbelievably tasty perfect for any occasion!!
