A special luncheon was held to celebrate the inaugural group nursing students participating in the Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) program. The DEU is a nursing education model established through a partnership with Lake Sumter State College in which a hospital unit is dedicated to student nurses to provide them with an innovative immersive hands-on training experience and to interact directly with nursing leadership on campus level creating a direct pathway to employment🎓🎉.
