Chef Kelly is a graduate of the Washtenaw Community College Culinary Arts Program and has been trained in Classical French and other ethnic style cooking! He is Serve-Safe certified, insured and is the President/Owner of The Chow Haul. We donate to disabled veterans groups and high school sports programs! The Chow Haul has the culinary expertise to deliver elegant cuisine or a more modest fare. Th

At present, The Chow Haul can provide an indoor/outdoor "Buffet Line" Experience. In either case, linens, glassware, etc are not available. Only paper/plastic service are included in the cost. The Chow Haul is a food preparation/service operation only. The Chow Haul does not decorate, set up tables (other than food service tables), or have wait staff. The Chow Haul is perfect for Weddings, Family Reunions, Birthdays, Graduation Parties, Corporate Lunches, Sports Team Dinners, and Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties! The target range of guests is 40-200 people, however, smaller events can be discussed! By using The Chow Haul, you will also know that you are donating to Disabled Veterans and/or Your Favorite High School's Sports Program! Thank You For Considering and Choosing The Chow Haul!

The Chow Haul is announcing a transfer of ownership to Chef Josh Nieto. "Food Medic" will be the food truck for the 2023 camping season, and we wish him the best of luck! We know you will welcome him in his inaugural year! The Chow Haul may be making some side appeances in the future with a new look and specialty limited menu (TBD). We Warmly and Graciously thank all of the Sunny's Staff and Campers for treating us like family during some GREAT YEARS! We will still be catering events! Ciao (Chow)!

Food Truck Employment Opportunity

The Chow Haul, located at Sunnys Campground in Wauseon, OH, is looking for an employee from May through Sep 2023. Business hours are Fri 4p-8p, Sat 8a-8p, Sun 8a-1p (extra day holiday weekends). The pay is 12.00 per hour plus tips (extra 50 - 100 per weekend?) Free meals/drinks are also provided. Must be at least 17 years old, committed to business days and hours and have own transportation.
