If you are a woman who is 60 years or older and you have the talent to share, you might be interested in joining the Cameo Ladies of Ms Florida Senior America Pageant. The Cameo Ladies are a group of former contestants and winners of the Ms Florida Senior America Pageant who continue to support and promote the organization’s mission and vision. The Cameo Ladies are involved in various activities throughout the year, such as:
•Performing their talent during entertaining Showcases and other special events throughout the year in order to raise funds for pageant expenses. This includes nursing and assisted living homes, veterans homes, volunteer events, etc.
•Assisting the Florida Ms Senior America Pageant organization by serving on the Board of Directors and various other committees throughout the year: including judges; marketing, publicity, and funding; program book; recruiting;, and pageant production.
•Assisting with the Ms Florida Ms Senior America Pageant held in April of each year, including the production, backstage and front-of-stage assistance, stage design, awards, and reception.
•Assisting and supporting the reigning Ms Florida Senior America.
•Attending monthly meetings to discuss the business of the organization.
•Bringing recognition and honor to all “Ladies of Elegance” who are 60 years of age. All fee’s are used to maintain the Pageant, the club, and to send the newly crowned queen to the National Pageant. All such fees collected are tax deductible. A receipt for payment and/or a W-9 form will be provided upon request.
The Cameo Ladies are not only a group of talented and elegant women, but also a group of friends who enjoy having fun together. They welcome new members who share their passion for celebrating the age of elegance.
To become a member of the club, you need to participate fully in a Ms Florida Senior America Pageant, which includes an interview, a talent show and an evening gown presentation. After the pageant, you will be automatically inducted into the club and welcomed by your fellow All such all fees collected are tax deductable. A nominal fee of $35 per year, which helps cover the costs of costumes, props and travel. The club is a great way to make new friends, have fun and showcase your talents.
