We almost cancelled this session because of the weather. When I left my house, it was still pouring down rain. But twenty minutes later, it was sunny and golden, with a hint of a rainbow peeking out of the sky; just perfect to take pictures of two little ladies in a field of wildflowers. 🌻

Happy Mother’s Day! Being a mother has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and also the most fulfilling. I’m so grateful for my tiny humans that call me Mama. ❤️

What a sweet engagement session I had with Daryl and Liz! They are so adorable together, and now I can’t wait for their wedding day. 😍

I cannot get over these magical, golden photos. Abby’s vision was to use pine trees for the background, and it couldn’t have been lovelier. We’re thankful for these good friends, and can’t wait for them to welcome another baby to their family! 💙

If you can’t decide where to get your pictures taken, you can always choose to stay home and let me come to you! Even in the winter, the Arnold family’s lane made a lovely backdrop for their family photos. Plus, bonus points that you don’t have to get kids buckled up to rush to your session. 😉

This car was a special surprise for Amberly, just before her wedding ceremony! These shots were a bit challenging for me, since we had to make do with a parking lot, and the weather kept flipping between intense sunshine and overcast clouds every minute. Despite the heat, these ended up being some of my favorite shots. 🥰

Every new year, I think that this will be the year that I start posting consistently on here. And then life happens. 😄 We got the sweetest little puppy a few weeks, and I was not prepared for how much busier and crazier life would be. Add a home addition to that and it’s been a busy winter, although a very good one.

This photo is from a sweet little elopement shoot I had last fall at the Rose Garden. It was starting to sprinkle rain half way through our session, but we were able to finish just before the real rain rolled in.

It’s so good to be on this side of the holidays, and one of my busiest times of the year. I’m finally caught up on editing, we’re back from all the travels, and life is slowing down a bit. How is your new year starting out?

This sweet family wanted to do their pictures on their property, and I just love the beautiful trees and all the sunshine coming through the branches. Even in a South Georgia fall and winter, there is so much beauty to be found.

I loved getting some shots of this sweet family on the sidewalks downtown. Thomasville has the most darling downtown, and we love spending time walking and eating there.

Picking satsumas is fast becoming a fall tradition for us! 🍊I snapped a few pictures of Addison and it’s so fun to compare them to the pictures I took of Ellie two years ago in the same dress. 🧡 They are growing up so quickly!

Here in South Georgia, we don’t get a lot of brilliantly colored trees in the fall. However, I love using the trees we do have, along with some golden hour sunshine, to still get that autumn glow!

I loved meeting this sweet family, and capturing a few moments as they celebrate expecting another baby.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of family sessions, and there are more to come! I can’t wait to post all the beautiful families I’ve seen this fall, but for now I’ll start with this shot that I took on the dirt end of the road we live on. It’s always a pleasure working with this family!
