Our Story
Port-A-Pups was founded by Kelly Brown in 2017. She was a veterinarian for 15 years before she started the business. As a graduate from Cornell University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, she is highly qualified for the job. After college, she owned her own veterinarian clinic for years. Life started to become mundane for her though, and that is when she wanted to go down a new path in her life. As a strong dog lover, she always wanted to better how they are adopted and cared for. The disgusting living conditions animals live in were too much for her. She needed to make a change; and that is when the idea of Port-A-Pups started.
