Troy Vets Club, 183 Veterans Drive, Troy, PA (2024)

Focusing on service to veterans, service members and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Membership swiftly grew to over 1 million, and local posts sprang up across the country. Today, membership stands at over 2.4 million in 14,000 posts worldwide. The posts are organized into 55

departments: one each for the 50 states, along with the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico and the Philippines. Over the years, the Legion has influenced considerable social change in America, won hundreds of benefits for veterans and produced many important programs for children and youth. We are an American Legion as well as a VFW who combined together in the early 1970's. The property is owned by the American Legion, therefore, we honor American Legion cards from other American Legions all around the world and are unfortunately unable to honor a VFW memberships from other clubs. Troy Vets Club is a house occupied by American Legion Post 49, VFW 8675, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders, American Legion Auxiliary, as well as our social membership program.

ACS is proud to be part of the Paws For A Cause Motorcycle Ride with the Troy American Legion Riders (Troy Vets Club)! 🏍

This event is starting at the Troy Vets Club and ending at ACS for lunch! For questions regarding the event, please email Keith: [email protected]. All are welcome!

We will also be hosting a vaccine clinic for our community with low cost rabies vaccines for $10, Microchips for $10 and thanks to our partner, Petco Love, for once again providing FREE distemper vaccines for both cats and dogs!

The clinic will be taking place at Animal Care Sanctuary on Saturday, September 7th from 9am - 3pm! We will also be serving up Burgers and Hotdogs! We ask for a donation of any kind to ACS in exchange. 🌭🍔
