We are SO excited for this years Freedom Festival! The 6th annual bike parade will kick off at 7pm, with line up at 6:30pm. As always we will have lots of patriotic goodies for all the kiddos and we will draw for the Holiday World tickets sponsored by The County Chronicle!

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated again this year! It was so much fun to see all of you and the decorated entries! Next year we will have full sidewalk access again. Congratulations to our Holiday World Ticket winners! Look for pictures in the upcoming edition of the Journal Newspaper, the Journal supports the parade each year by donating the Holiday World tickets. Thank you again to Villa Grove Monicals for the pizza passes and Villa Grove State Bank for the cash donation so that each person gets an awesome participation prize. See you all next year!

We can’t believe we have been hosting this event for 5 years now! We have enjoyed seeing everyone every year!

The freedom festival will be Friday June 30th, 2023. The bike parade will take place at 7pm, with line up starting at 6:30pm.

We are excited that the Journal has agreed to sponsor the grand prizes of Holiday World tickets again this year (thank you The Journal!)
Tickets will be drawn at random in the following age categories 5& under, 6-11, and 12& up. This year we are only allowing 1 winner per household. So if we draw your name and you are from the same household we kindly ask that you let us know so that we may redraw and give another family the opportunity to enjoy the tickets.

Every child will receive something from our goody table after the parade. (Thanks to Villa Grove State Bank & Villa Grove Monicals) We will also have popsicles!

We would like to say thank you to the Villa Grove Rotary Club for a generous donation to the Bike Parade! We will have Patriotic music playing this year during the parade, more Holiday World tickets to give away thanks to the Journal newspaper, every participant will receive a participation prize thanks to the Villa Grove State Bank. More chances to win and more prizes because of our awesome sponsors. We hope to see you on Friday July 1- lineup / registration starts at 6:30- parade starts at 7….this event is FREE to participate and a lot of fun! We can’t wait to see all of the patriotic designs this year!
