✨Arranging Transportation✨

Did you know, it is very common for brides to forget to set up transportation plans for after their wedding?

At least 2 weeks before your wedding, it is important to have a plan of action in place for transportation after your wedding. This needs to include you and your significant other, family members, and guests! Make certain ahead of time that the preferred transportation is able to take them home, back to their hotels, etc!

⭐️Family Formals⭐️

Family formals are so important but trying the find the best time to do them or the best way to manage them could be tough. Here’s a few tips for how to make these move as quick as possible and be as organized as possible.

⭐️ When do this? We always recommend doing this right after the ceremony. Instead of having family exit with the bridal party, have everyone stay seated. Once the bridal party has exited, the officiant can announce for family to stay behind for family photos and release everyone else to cocktail hour.

⭐️ Where do we do this? We love suggesting the altar it just makes it for a seamless transition since everyone is seated right there.

⭐️ How do we keep this organized? Your photographer should ask you for a family formals list prior to your wedding day (usually 30 days out). We also have you send us this family formal list so we have it on hand. This helps them and us know who needs to be involved. One of our staff will always be stationed at family formals in case we need to go grab family that wandered off or call out names for the photographer. We like to keep things moving and organized!

⭐️ Who to consider and how to plan the photos? Always make sure immediate family, grandparents, and any other close family members are in these.
Here’s an example:
⭐️Couple with parents
⭐️Couple with parents and sibling
⭐️Couple with parents, sibling and grandparents
⭐️Couple with siblings
⭐️Couple with grandparents
There are so many ways and pairings for these! We can always help you decide and plan this list that way no one is left out. You want to make sure you have these memories to last a lifetime with all the people you cherish.

You must make sure there's ample time for setup & breakdown. If you're renting a venue and bringing in help, ask what time people can come in to start setting up. See if they can do it the day before, or at the very least, the entire wedding day, before the wedding starts.
