The other day was a solemn reminder that many in law enforcement have made the ultimate sacrifice while working to ensure the safety and security that many of us take for granted.

Many thanks and blessings to all who wear the badge and protect and serve our communities.
Their compassion is real, and their bravery is authentic.

With this in mind, we should take time to express our admiration and deep appreciation to those who dedicate their lives to this honorable mission.

Rosh Hashanah, a two-day celebration that starts on September 25 at sundown this year, marks the Jewish New Year and the creation of the world. It begins the 10-day period of introspection, prayer, and inner transformation that culminates in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

The reaffirmation of faith in God.
His prophetic word says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

To surrender to God is to accept the fact that God loves us and provides for us then we are on our way to our God given potential. Surrender enhances our potential.
May you have a year filled with meaning and purpose! And happiness that will surely follow.
