A lot of our clients entertain regularly so one of the first questions that we ask when starting to design, is how do you like to entertain? This family is incredibly tight knit (and large) and they love to throw dinner parties at long tables that feel warm and inviting and cozy. So, it made sense to create that for the wedding day itself!

A lovely residential style moment for the es**rt cards.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When thinking about planning an es**rt card display, top of mind for us is always ease and legibility, and then we can figure out design. Because this was downstairs in a club, it had a very residential feel, so a custom “wallpaper” style inset and library lights helped to accomplish that.

It took some convincing, but ultimately A+T decided to do a first look, and we think it was 100% worth it!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With a late ceremony start time (6pm) and an early November wedding, they would have only gotten to have portraits in the dark without a first look. But in talking through reasons why they should or shouldn’t, it allowed us to figure out the best plan to do a first look, which was a quiet moment, with just the two of them and the photographer, upstairs in the National Cathedral.
