How many guests should you invite to your wedding? Is it in your budget to invite extended family, coworkers, and childhood friends? Is it in your budget to invite everyone you know or just your nearest and dearest?
Take a look at the vendor items that change per guest count. How much can you budget per guest for the catering and bar costs?
Here’s a simple math formula to help you calculate the total cost of all of your guests:
# of guests x $ per person = cost of all wedding guests
So, if you have 150 guests and your catering and bar costs are $50 per person, the cost for your wedding guests is $7,500
150 guests x $50 per guest = $7,500

You will also have to account for a built-in gratuity of 20% and 9.3% VA sales and food tax
7,500 x 20% =$1,500 then $7,500 x 9.3% =697.50 Add them all together
$7,500+ $1,500+ $697.50= $9,697.50

Then add the cost of your photographer, videographer, DJ, wedding gown, baker, etc to get your grand total budget.
You can then decide if it’s in your budget to increase or if you need to decrease your number of guests.

✨Welcome to West Oaks Event Center✨

Meet the family and generations that spent their special days on West Oaks Farm and Market.

We are now an 11th-generation family farm that loves cultivating and taking care of the land our ancestors took care of as well.

Mary and Joe have now been married for 30+ years and still reminisce on their rainy day in the living room of the house they still reside in.

Ben and Rachael- our newlyweds- have spent years together traveling, working, sharing a beer or two, and of course, they got hit with a monsoon the day of their wedding. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful day.

Levi and Kate also got married on a rainy day here at West Oaks that opened into a beautiful sunny afternoon. They have recently added the newest addition to the family, little Kinley Snapp.

Tesla, the youngest of our tribe, we hope gets her rainy day soon!
