All states -including Oregon, REQUIRE ALL hairstylists, estheticians/makeup artists and barbers to be licensed.

To qualify for a license, candidates are required to graduate from a state-approved cosmetology program.

*After graduating Northwest College, I became licensed by the state of Oregon in Hair & Esthetics in 2012 and have held my licenses since. My education was worth every second, every penny and yes, every tear.
