weekend 4 update
Good progress on the glass this weekend. We are now more than halfway installed on the glass panes, and arguably through the hardest fitting bits.🙌
I'm so grateful for all the beautiful weather we've had to work on the weekends, and I'm looking forward to putting this beauty into service for our first holiday wreath workshop the Saturday after Thanksgiving!

The glass is looking fabulous as it goes in. It's super clear and has Facebook already feeding me ads for window cleaners! 🤣
I'd love some input on the landscaping along the back wall. It's currently just grass, and the fence will be re-installed to connect to the corners of the building.
Should we plant a hedge of some sort along the back? Flowering hydrangeas? I'd love to add lilacs, but they would get too tall, I think.
Share your suggestions below; I'm kind of stumped at the moment.

The wiggle test is a great way to tell if your zinnias are at proper harvest stage. But honestly, I'm working on speed and efficiency for summer harvests.
I don't take the time to hold each stem and test it. I'm selecting stems with my left hand, cutting with my right, and knocking the next stem with the back of my hand at the same time. That way, it's a continuous flow that doesn't stop, grip, test, cut, strip before moving on.
And it's kinda fun to slap the flowers around a little, just so they're not too precious. 😉
