YACA Concert Series is hosting its last concert for the season

On Friday, May 5, the Yankton Area Concert Association will host its final performance for the 2022-2023 season at 7:30 pm at the Summit Center in Yankton High School.
The featured concert showcases a Minneapolis-based sextet of brass, keyboard, percussion, guitars and electronic instruments aptly named Copper Street Brass.
The talented musicians will mix the various sounds for an entertaining evening of music. Selections include Suite from Carmen, Saturday in the Park and tributes to Led Zeppelin, Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven.
YACA members are invited to pull their membership cards out one last time for the year and join the brass ensemble for a lively night.

YACA will kick off their Membership Drive on Sunday, March 12th at the 3 p.m. concert featuring the Hall Sisters. Bring your membership renewal to the performance and be entered into a $50 drawing!

YACA March 12th Concert at 3 p.m.

While Yankton Area Concert Association members anxiously wait for Spring, they will be able to enjoy one more Sunday afternoon concert at the Summit Center.

On Sunday, March 12, at 3 pm, the YACA will host The Hall Sisters, a classic sister ensemble who perform a blend of the Andrew Sisters and current pop country. The Sisters have performed together since 2007 at such locations as the Grand Ole Opry, Country Hall of Fame and Carnegie Hall.

YACA members will enjoy songs made popular by Nat King Cole, Charlie Chaplain, James Taylor and old time favorites from the Andrew Sisters.

There will be one more concert for this year’s season after this March presentation on Friday, May 5, so time is running out for YACA ticket members to enjoy the last few concert offerings.

The Yankton Area Concert Association (YACA) will be starting their spring session of concerts on Sunday, February 19, with an afternoon presentation of Cowboy Americana for all ticket holders for the 2022-2023 season.
The 3:30 pm concert in the Summit Center will host Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music R***e, a family-friendly production including western hits like ‘Rawhide’, ‘Happy Trails’ and ‘I’m an Old Cowhand’.
This well-traveled group of musicians have performed on ‘Larry’s Country Diner,’ along with appearances on the Travel Channel, ESPN and the Great American Country (GAC) Network. They have traveled from coast-to-coast and developed a loyal following.
