Doan Ngo celebration at Hoang Thanh Imperial Citadel Hanoi
Doan Ngo festival or "Tết Giết Sâu Bọ" is annually celebrated on the 5th of May (lunar calendar) in all the family of Vietnamese people.
We offre seasonal fruits like lychee, plum, flower... to the ancestors, especially the Ruou Nep "fermented glutinous rice"

An ancient ritual will be reenacted from June 21 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, as part of the celebration of the Doan Ngo Festival (which take place on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month).
