I definitely found a new passion - CATography!! For those of you who know me, you'll know I just LOVE cats and that recently I've started my own cattery and I'm showing my cats at the major shows. And the best of all is that we'll have kittens towards the end of this year! I'm being mentored by a wonderful, kind, very intelligent lady, Alida Delport Cherie-Finesse Cattery) with an astounding knowledge of cats - especially Chinchillas, Burmese and Burmillas. On what must be the hottest October day EVER in Cape Town, Alicia and Jason tied the knot at Zonnevanger, Paarl.
An immense amount of detail went into the preparations and décor and everything looked sparkly silver/white, fairytale pretty.
As things go on a wedding day (and with 6 bridesmaids!) things ran a little late…BUT they were the most TERRIFIC team of bridesmaids I’ve ever witnessed in action.
They also did Alicia’s makeup and what a blessing to have makeup artists for bridesmaids, because with the heat, the makeup had to be touched up every 5 minutes!! In the end though, I think Alicia was the bride with the most perfect makeup (until the very last photograph of the couple shoot!) I’ve ever seen!
By the time the bride walked down the aisle, onto the gazebo on the dam, under weeping willows and with the groom waiting at the end, all the hustle and bustle and heat was forgotten.
Alicia and Jason, may your fairytale last many many more years to come!
