Earthy, moody tones 🤩

Coloured candles are possibly the most underrated element in my opinion! It acts as a golden thread tying the entire look together, and we just love that extra ambience 😏

Let’s play a round of this or that, flower addition 🌷

Did you know that:
- 1 orchid stem = 1.5 bunches of standard roses.
(thats more than double the volume)

- 5 XL Anthuriums = 1 bunch of standard roses.
(these Anthuriums give slightly more impact as their “faces” are so big & striking)

- 1 bunch of peony-style roses = 2 bunches standard rose
(again, double the volume)

- 1 bunch of seasonal flowers = 1 bunch standard rose
(common misconception, they are not cheaper and are equal in impact- although they give amazing interest)

- 2 hydrangeas in season = 1 bunch of standard roses
( thats double the impact)

- 1 bunch of garden roses = 2 bunches standard roses
(these give impact but less volume per R)

We all have a few favourite floral, but they often come at a cost. When planning your wedding flowers, one has to decide between maximum impact (which goes hand-in-hand with trusting your florists advice) and smaller details to accommodate your favourites being everywhere.

Thats why we always ask: what is your favourite flower & what flower do you not want near your wedding day… That’s how we know what to completely avoid and what to include in special place (ie your bouquet, bridal table & other focal areas).

It’s the ‘ Chelsea Flower Show in London, and as the MASSIVE flower lovers that we are - we just couldn’t miss it!

From the most organic meadow gardens that could house billions of magical creatures, to rows and rows of unique clematis cultivars… calling myself “inspired” after this would be the understatement of a lifetime!

How to hold your bouquet: advice from a wedding florist. So often we see brides holding their bouquet incorrectly. But how can one hold flowers wrong? And why does this matter? We’re shedding some light so you get the MOST out of your bouquet: - Bouquets are designed to be held with the stems to your belly button, and flower heads facing the camera. Show off those STUNNERS! - Holding the bouquet with the end of the stems facing the floor, leaves the sides of the stems exposed. This is rather harsh against the delicacy of your gown. You want everything to be cohesive and completely one another. - The airiness of florals lose their dimension and can appear rather ‘wonky’ on images when viewed from the side… Give the camera the best view of your bouquet: straight into those gorgeous, fragrant flower heads. That way you’ll remember how your bouquet looked on the day, as well as each and every flower that was in that magical bundle every time you look back on your wedding photos.
